Isha Yoga Centre

Isha Foundation is a nonprofit, spiritual organisation founded in 1992 near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. It hosts the Isha Yoga Centre, which offers yoga programs under the name Isha Yoga. The foundation is run "almost entirely" by volunteers. The word isha means "the formless divine". Isha Yoga Center is a sacred space for self-transformation, where one can come dedicate time towards one's inner growth. The center offers all four major paths of yoga – kriya (energy), gnana (knowledge), karma (action), and bhakti (devotion), drawing people from all over the world.

Anamalai Tiger Reserve

The Anamalai Tiger Reserve has a long management history since 1848. It is the erstwhile Coimbatore South Forest division, which was a model forest division for the Madras State. Till 1879 Anamalais was one range under the charge of Sub-Assistant Conservator. The Tiger Reserves holds a large number of population of endangered species of fauna and flora. The Tiger Reserves supports diverse habitat types. The floral diversity of the Tiger Reserve is extraordinary. Anamalai Tiger Reserve is a pristine 958.59 km2 reserve of tropical jungle, shola forest and grassland rising to 2400m and spilling over the Western Ghats into Kerala between Kodaikanal and Coimbatore. This tiger reserve is home to all kinds of exotic endemic wildlife, much of it rare and ensuccessed – including leopards and around 30 elusive tigers, though you’re much more likely to see lion-tailed macaques, peacocks, langurs, spotted deer and elephants, or crocodiles.

Parambikulam Tiger Reserve

Parambikulam Tiger Reserve which also includes the erstwhile Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, is a 643.66 square kilometres protected area lying in Palakkad district and Thrissur district of Kerala state, South India. Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary with its panoramic landscape, meandering streams, extensive water spread of the reservoir, cascading waterfalls, rolling hills and valleys and wealth of biodiversity is one of the captivating places in Kerala. It is located in the Chittoor taluk of Palakkad district. Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is situated in Chittur taluk of Palakkad district and is about 100 km away from Palakkad.

Mudumalai National Park

Mudumalai National Park is a national park in the Nilgiri Mountains in Tamil Nadu, south India. It covers 321 km² at an elevation range of 850–1,250 m in the Nilgiri District and shares boundaries with the states of Karnataka and Kerala. A part of this area has been protected since 1940. Mudumalai is also popular for its wildlife sanctuary that has been declared as a reserve for tigers in the recent years. Beautifully situated in the bank of Moyar River this place is the natural habitat for a variety of animals including elephants, sambhars, leopards, tigers, mouse deer etc.

Silent Valley National Park

Silent Valley National Park is a national park in Kerala, India. It is located in the Nilgiri hills, has a core area of 89.52 km², which is surrounded by a buffer zone of 148 km². This national park has some rare species of flora and fauna. This area was explored in 1847 by the botanist Robert Wight. Silent Valley is home to the largest population of lion-tailed macaques, an endangered species of primate. Public controversy over their habitat led to the establishment of Silent Valley National Park.
